Like all our full-flake concrete coatings, our Earth Effects coating systems comprise an extraordinarily thick 100%-solids, moisture-mitigating primer coat (layer 1), a full-flake broadcast of your chosen mica-mineral blend (layer 2), and dual layers of our clear 100%-solids polyaspartic (layers 3 and 4). These 4-layered coating systems are over 35 mils in thickness – almost double any 1-day system. Our use of epoxy as the primer coat (polyureas should never be applied direct-to-concrete), the integration of mica mineral into the flake blends, and our application of 2 polyaspartic topcoats (not 1), differentiates us from the “1-day” guys.
